We are starting a new project: Heads Up – mental health of young people at school. This is a unique initiative that we are taking at a time of a global mental health crisis caused by, among others, Covid-19, lack of physical activity, a balanced diet, the development of family and peer relationships, or young people giving up on developing their passions.
Head Up is an international research project financed by the Erasmus + program. The project is carried out from September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2024, in cooperation with four institutions:
– Foundation of the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw (project coordinator),
– Faculty of Pedagogy, University of Warsaw
– Palacké University in Olomouc
– Pavl Jozef Šafárik University in Košiciach.
During the Kick-Off meeting, the main challenges facing researchers were discussed, in connection with the demanding issue and pioneering research in the school environment.
The division of tasks in the project was discussed, with particular emphasis on the coordinators of individual parts of the project.
The schedule for implementing the tasks and research, social and promotional priorities were also presented.
The meeting took place online and was an opportunity for the wider team to get to know each other.
