The Institute of Mother and Child Foundation was launched in March 2014. The most important goals of the Foundation include: action for the protection of health, health promotion and prevention of civilization diseases among children, adolescents and pregnant women. One of the areas of preventive activities is also the promotion of vaccinations, both

among the employees of the Institute and among parents and doctors – by organizing educational campaigns. An important task of the Foundation is to support the scientific and clinical activities of the IMC through cooperation with scientific communities, promotion of scientific and clinical achievements of the IMC employees, organization of conferences, trainings and lectures promoting the experience and scientific achievements of the Institute. In addition, the Foundation is active in the field of international cooperation: it conducts research as part of multi-center projects in Youth sector, financed by the European Union, devoted to health promotion and equalizing opportunities for young people. In recent years the IMCF participated in various projects co-financed from EU such as EpiSchool, Improve the Youth, Back to School, Promoting Active Travel To School In Europe, PARIPRE and the members of IMCF are coordinating the Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) study in Poland.

Another important area of the Foundation’s activity is activity in the field of promoting the well-being of young people, the well-being and counteracting the escalation of the problem of depression in children. The international project of the Foundation devoted to this subject was the project called “Improve the Youth” (2017-2019) carried out in cooperation with Portugal, on the problem of adolescent stress and its determinants.

The Foundation is also involved in the project “Hear the Children” initiated by the First Lady Agata Kornhauser – Duda, which is a response to the declining mood of adolescents and the mental health problems of adolescents caused by isolation related to the Covid-19 pandemic, and is aimed at parents of children.

An important element of the support provided to IMiD is also the fundraising activity of the Foundation, which provides assistance in the purchase of medical equipment and equipment for the Institute. Thanks to the conducted public collections and acquired targeted grants, the Foundation can support the families of suddenly deceased IMiD employees, or conduct training in the so-called soft skills of doctors and administrative staff of the Institute and provide support in the form of coaching and mentoring for employees of the Institute, including in the process of change.

In addition, the University of Warsaw holds very good positions in comparative evaluations of the quality of education, in particular study programmes, such as the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Ranking and Eduniversal Best Masters and MBA Worldwide. 17 programmes provided by UW have been listed in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021. 9 subjects run by UW were ranked in the Shanghai Ranking of Academic Subjects 2021 (Physics and Mathematics were ranked 76-100 worldwide).

The quality of education at the University of Warsaw is confirmed by the annual appraisals conducted by the university itself which show that the majority of students are satisfied with their selection of the university and the education programme. The University’s strongest points are: its prestige, development opportunities, the study environment. The quality of education is also confirmed by research conducted with the University’s graduates. The University of Warsaw conducts the largest research enterprise of its kind in Europe by monitoring the careers of former students. Results demonstrate that having a diploma from the University of Warsaw is a definite asset in the job market; 94% of respondents have found employment after graduation.

The leading concepts of the University’s activity are the unity of teaching and research, and the harmonious development of all branches of knowledge represented in its curriculum. The University employs nearly 4,000 scholars. Their scientific enquiry extends over 1,400 research topics; students who they concurrently teach have the opportunity of joining in their research projects. The University’s research teams have won worldwide recognition in many areas of knowledge and  have joined international research programmes.

Palacký University Olomouc is a university with long-standing tradition. Founded in the 16th century, it is the oldest university in Moravia and the second-oldest university in the Czech Republic. Today it is a modern higher education facility with a wide range of study programmes and copious scientific and research activities. In 2020, 21,824 students studied in 840 accredited study programmes at eight faculties. The university also provides exchange programmes and lifelong learning programmes. Palacký University Olomouc is one of the very top Czech universities, and ranks among the best universities in the world, according to international rankings.

Palacký University Olomouc (UP) is one of the most important Central European centres of education and research, boasting achievements on the European and global levels in a number of disciplines. UP also plays a significant role in the region. It is one of the largest employers in the Olomouc Region and the City of Olomouc. The economic growth and development of the region would not be possible without the University.

The eight faculties of Palacký University offer 840 Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral study programmes. Applicants may choose from a broad variety of programmes, ranging from theology, education, physical culture and sports, through the humanities, social sciences and arts, to natural, medical, and health sciences. The credit system at UP is fully compatible with ECTS – The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System. The prestigious status of the University in Olomouc is confirmed each year by the vast numbers of young applicants, as well as mature students such as seniors and other interested persons.

Pavol Jozef Šafárik University was established in 1959 as the second classical University in Slovakia. The current structure of  P. J. Šafárik University includes five faculties – Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Public Administration and Faculty of Arts. At our University more than 7 500 students are studying.

The University provides education in three main cycles – bachelor’s, master’s, doctor´s and PhD. studies in different fields. The process of education is provided in both, Slovak and English language. Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice provides higher education based on the newest scientific findings in a wide international context. The University co-operates very intensively with academic institutions all around the world.

UPJŠ defended its leading position in the Slovak higher education domain, mainly on the basis of its internationally recognized research, as confirmed by the Accreditation Commission by including UPJŠ among the four most significant scientific and research universities in Slovakia. The main priority of the present is to ensure that all parts of UPJŠ in Košice base their study on high quality scientific research led by teams of professionally erudite teachers who transfer the knowledge obtained by their own scientific research into the educational process. The UPJŠ staff and its constituents are making every effort to expose the students during the educational process to the state-of-the-art experimental instrumentation technology, the latest information and communication technologies, as well as the innovative methods of education that may then be used in their own practice.

UPJŠ offers a total of 164 study programmes in the year 2017 (of which 96 Bachelor’s, 64 Master’s, 4 doctoral degrees of the associated 1st and 2nd levels), 10 of which are being taught in the English language.
